So this is a recipe that I thought up the other day while experimenting with turkey. It is very similar to a pork on that I already have. It turned out quite spicy. I used the orange sauce from Panda Express, but there could be milder versions out there.
7 turkey chops
1 cup orange juice
2 T soy sauce
1 T dijon mustard1 jar orange sauce
1 bag craisins
1 gallon size bag
1 bag Broccoli Slaw
In gallon size bag combine orange juice, soy sauce and
mustard. Put chops in the bag and with
sauce. Mix around freely then marinate for 2-24 hours. You might need 2
skillets or due two separate cookings. In hot skillet sear the chops, add about half
of the marinade to the chops and discard the rest.
Mix the orange sauce,
and craisins. Spoon mixture over each chop until all mixture is gone. Cook the meat through then remove from pans
onto a serving platter, reduce sauce for about 2 mins then scoop ¾ of the
mixture onto the meat leaving the remaining ¼ of the mixture in the pan. Add
the entire bag of Broccoli slaw to the sauce and coat then heat through. Don’t
let it get soggy.
You can serve it with rice if you want. My family really likes those La chow crunchy noodles.
